Big Forest Weekend Coming Up for ColGlen!

This weekend there’s all sorts going on at the Glendaruel Village Hall. On Saturday, from 10.30am onwards we have a day of Chainsaw sculpture, Climbing trees, Walking Theatre and Forest Workshops, as well as delicious food. In the evening there’s a ceilidh, with live band, more food, and a raffle – which all starts at 7.30pm and goes on ’til late.

Then on Sunday there’s the Development Trust’s AGM at 2pm for trust members, and from 3pm there’s an open meeting for everyone. During the latter, we’ll have presentations from the chair and our Community Forest Project Officer, Mark, on the forest, a report from Sara on Warmer Colglen and of course, Rhona will be talking about Forward ColGlen!
